The Foundation for Children with Disabilities (FCD) in collaboration with the Network of Music and Arts of Persons with Disabilities (NMAD) will host the 11th Wataboshi Music Festival 2011 from 9-13 November 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. The festival will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Wataboshi with the ability in music of artists with disabilities from the Wataboshi member countries around the Asia-Pacific region namely Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Lao PDR, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand . The concert of the talented artists will be organized on 11th November 2011 (11/11/2011) at the Thailand Cultural Centre in Bangkok. This time, the artists will also sing a song composed by His Majesty the King of Thailand to commemorate the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary. As traditionally, the festival will include a networking meeting among its member countries for future direction of the Wataboshi Network. Last but not least, all participants will have an opportunity to try accessible tourism in Bangkok in order to promote provision of accessibility for people with disabilities, especially this time in cultural and historical attractions.
